I am regularly called to speak on a number of local history topics and can  deliver lectures at meeting places, retirement communities and on-location special sites.
(Where applicable, some may include illustrated PowerPoint and video accompaniment.)

Classroom teaching

Frederick Community College, Hood College, Towson University and the Frederick County Historic Sites Consortium have utilized me in an adjunct faculty role to teach video production, documentary, and public history/family legacy courses. Currently I'm the host of Frederick County Explorations, an ongoing thematic course offering from Frederick Community College's Institute for Retirement Learning.

Guide Service

I have plenty of experience in developing itineraries, conducting historic walking and cemetery tours,  providing step-on host/sightseeing service for motor coach groups, leading corporate teambuilding sojourns and chaperoning visiting travel writers, authors and historians.
